change 30 sec from hyper to bullet

Are you doing this so that you can get more rating in bullet or because you think it's a genuinely good change? You could probably get better results by asking for 45 sec to become a time control again...

30, 45 sec are a transition time control, it's not bullet or hyper either. however, being 30 seconds will greatly affect bullet games, as it will prevail in popularity over typical 1 min bullet games, while being in hyper will have no effect

Why do you people over concern yourselves with rating? We still have yet to really understand this new set up let alone the BY set up. Diduseethatcomeing abandoned this new set up, for he told me that there were TOO MANY VARIANTS! Opposite of what is thought about it right now. We should be playing 30 min games teams or ffa. Why waste so much time "winning" games, (or rather rating), when we could be winning knowledge? Most of the team games are a joke, and the real players are begging for didu, icystun, valger the lazy one, to come back, and make this game LIVE AGAIN. However we can simply do it ourselves. Who needs them when we have us? Play longer games, teams and ffa and let the show begin!

please understand that this game is dead BECAUSE of the new setup (how are there "too many variants, there's like three different openings, but obviously after the first 5 moves there's a ton of different variations because that's the nature of the game, you can say the same thing about any other setup), and lets be real teams is basically dead except for the random 2100s that blunder pieces on move 5 and the 1500 german streamers that 3v1 me when its literally a teams game 

who do you even mean by "real players"? everyone wants these guys back, but no one i know has explicitly mentioned this

the winning knowledge fact i agree with, i'd love to play a couple of BY games, in fact we're thinking about starting a BY setup 4pc league in the future, but 30 min ffa games? yeah i don't think people want to sit for months playing a game of 4pc

They do play for months. That's what isn't understood here. And the real players do want them back simply to have something real entertaining to observe here. I know they probably played in the test server among themselves and against the terminator over and over, that could have easily make them reach this conclusion, that there arn't many variants for this set up. However, the rest of us normal people have yet to realize this. We dont get the luxry of  facing TheTerminator over and over, or even icystun for that matter. 

Momentum is key to this game. Many players waste their motives and momentum to gain material. Others use momentum to gain positional advantage. Creative players like diduseethatcomeing uses it in a very special way to gain positional advantage, and willing to sacrifice everything for it. This is art. Why should we deny ourselves this? This is why I find the sole ambition to gain rating is foolish, and defeats the purpose. Let the real games begin. 30 min games, maybe boring for some people. Fiiine. Then why not at least have some 10 min games? Our real motive here is to have fun expressing our own art, through the knowledge and creativity we have in this game. However understanding is mandatory, and every novice players realize this, especially those who come across diduseethatcomeing or icystun. diduseethatcomeing fun and motivation, was to encourage players to really look in depth on what this game really is. A real brilliant individual indeed. Nobody can take that away from him. Just like we shouldnt' take that same thing from ourselves.

"Our real motive here is to have fun expressing our own art" that's the whole point of 4pc lol, that's also why I decided to start the variants league because it's not "standard" by any means and there are a lot of ways to play
