I'll have to stop deleting any of my posts.
chat thread (to avoid the roundabout way to get to notes)...
So they've completely separated out the Your Turn Alerts in daily games from the total Alert count. Hovering over the green pawn icon no longer displays daily game links where it is ones turn, as well.
Not sure why that change was recommended or required, but, the Ghost Alert bug remains.
No -- they used to list Daily Games when it was your turn. Now, they only list Vote Chess turns (and maybe low-on-time alerts??).
They are giving super admins the option to go back, but since Erik for some reason loves these stupid new downdates, it will not happen in this group

That happened to me quite often. For the past 2-3 weeks, my alerts have been flawless (unless I'm not getting certain alerts). But, sometimes, I really want to see what & where the system is getting hosed on.
got a notification to say there were 60 new comments here - https://www.chess.com/news/view/chess-com-month-in-review-july-2020?ncc=60#first_new_comment
went there, it says there are 40 comments, but none are visible...

for nearly 2 weeks i haven't had a notification of a new post in cheating forum notes. i just went there after reading a forum thread about there. there's a whole page and more of notes there from the past week. i checked all my notification settings, all seems right.
pretty sure that's not the only place i'm not getting alerts for...
