Can RBG finish off Y?

Hi guys, sometimes I see d1+ played from the person to the right. This often changes the game so much since the person to your right has effective locked down the position for you and them. I think it’s a bad move, what do you guys think?

Yes. I feel relief when someone is towing me and then they do that.
I also see it as a bad move. I think it's better to not move it forward, and instead leave it for long term pressure
for #2 there's 1.Nf5!! Bxe6! Nxf5 Rxh8! 2. Bxf6!! Bxf5! Kxf6 Rxf1! and yellow is crushed, but red has gained only 1 point during the combination.
Yes but I doubt red crushing yellow with Bf6+ would be worth it. Did this crush happen in your game?

No. in fact, red had to go, and i ended up winning the game
I think e8+ is in general a bad move. I've seen this comment made also on other chaturaji clubs. The safer option seems to be dxe7.

Here, red played 7.Rxa6 and got third. Opinions?
Welcome everyone to the chaturaji analysis forum, where there will be uploads of real examples of chaturaji games and discussions about specific tactics in certain middle and endgame positions.
So what is classified as a real game post?
Real games will have players names and points by them, unlike Puzzles which points are usually not included and there are no names since it is created more often by the analysis tool. There is also the known phrase “puzzles do not reflect real game positions”.
NOTE: Please do not spam post this forum with positions! It's very important that time be allowed for the discussion of each position. Generally speaking, it should be one position per day, or fewer.
