Chaturaji Proifile Website, new level system, and proper ranks

So what if there was a website and you could put in your elo and the amount of matches you played. Then, a nicely-styled profile would display of your rank and level.

But what are levels? Levels are basically your experiance with chaturaji. The formula for calculating it would be: (elo x matches) / 10000.

So, for me, my level would be somewhat like this: 2093 * 250 / 10000, which would equal 52.

For SirAlFresco (shout out to them), it would be somewhat like this: 2350  * 6500 / 10000, which would equal 1,527. Wow.

So levels would be a number representation on your experience, not just elo or matches played.

And ranks? Simple.

• 1500 minus | Bronze (no piece)
• 1500-1750 | Silver (Pawn)
• 1750-2000 | Gold (Knight)
• 2000-2250 | Platinum (Bishop)
• 2250-2500 | Diamond (Rook)
• 2500 plus | Grandmaster (King)
• and prbly one more for like top teir players (aka articpolarbear)

10/10 idea! Levels in particular I think are clever and valuable to have. The website can 100% be linked in the club description and on the sidebar!

good idea but some flaws to be worked on, for example someone can play 10k+ matches and only have an elo of 1800s

@Floodescaper, I can definitely add more controls. And to let you know, rank images are in development right now. @Bird-Seed, I would love to add a leader board, but 1 problem: spammers. They set their elo to who knows what, and I have to go onto the backend and manually remove them. Unless this club had some secret password that you would have to know in order to be put on the leaderboards. And people could lie about their elo. Leaderboards are a cool idea, but lots of regulation would be needed. I'll still keep it as a thought, though.

Also, I'll improve the looks of the website, add this background image, add better colors, add ranked images, add a Navbar with some stuff, and hopefully soon enough, add a puzzles page, along with news and about and lessons. I plan to make this the Official Chaturaji Chess Team Cite.
