does the arrowed move (Rd5) lose something?

Red cannot be checked from his kings position so no.

Puzzle for 2000+ Players.

Green has done well this game but has made one fundamental mistake in this image.
Can you see the mating opitunity for yellow?

What would the podiums be for all 4 players at the end of the game?

No that's a perfectly good move.

WRONG. After Rd5, there's c1+ and Ke6 white loses something

Interesting. I'd probably just move the king in.

I checked C1+, which isn't possible because blues pawns are on B file and can only move left.

If this puzzle was meant to demonstrate red losing material, blues pawns need to be on G file and reds king on e2, where F1+ is possible.
