cheaters

There are several very good bughouse players (some NMs, IMs, etc.) who have decided to sandbag their bughouse ratings down to 400 so they can partner friends (or simul with themselves) and get other accounts up to 3000 by cheating.  Is there anything that can be done about such cheaters?

It's not a "bug".  It is players intentionally cheating.  This is doubly annoying because I know a lot of the cheaters personally.  They are my friends, but they are immature and they like cheating to inflate ratings.  I don't like reporting on my friends, but they keep doing it no matter how many times people ask them to stop.  And when one handle is discovered, they just create another to keep on cheating.

Even though I am friends with them, they like to match me, take my points, then mock me for "losing to a 400".  I generally play anyone and avoid resigning on move 1 to choose opponents (which most people on this server seem to do), but it is extremely obnoxious to play an intentional cheater, so I resign on move 1 if I notice in time.  Of course, their obnoxious behavior hurts my game because I need to waste a few seconds on move 1 looking at the opponents to make sure they are not intentional cheaters, which means I am down several seconds vs. legitimate opponents.

I don't mind naming names.

The following people intentionally cheat by sandbagging, then partnering themselves or others to inflate other accounts:

Note: I have nothing against simuling.  I have simuled a lot myself (though never on chess.com).  The problem is intentional rating manipulation... sandbagging on one account to then get another account high rated by simuling.  Watching the games it is impossible to reach any other conclusion than intentional rating manipulation.  Add to this that they have all bragged about manipulating ratings -- to me and several other witnesses.

Chess.com takes cheating very seriously: see https://www.chess.com/article/view/chess-com-fair-play-and-cheat-detection, https://support.chess.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1444879-fair-play-on-chess-com-what-you-need-to-know and https://www.chess.com/blog/DanielRensch/cheating-on-chesscom.
Having said that, public accusations in the forums is not the way to address these concerns, so I am locking this thread; please report any suspected cheating to the Support team via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new and trust that it will be investigated, even if there is no immediate visible action.

Update: most of the sandbaggers @chuckmoulton messaged me about have been banned.  Some were allowed to keep a single account which has had its rating reset.
