This cheating thing is getting worse if you ask me . It's now in the Tournaments? I get a lots of cheaters it seems. I get notes like this one all the time. this makes a low level player like me not want to play in tournaments because of this happening. Nothing I can do but get back a few points if you guys catch it. Good Luck and thanks for making me aware of something I already knew.

( chess.com sent me back points because someone found a way to cheat) maybe you don't understand that, (your Problem) Second, it is a forum think about what you ask so you Ignorance is not on display so soon! and as for attitude you really need to check yourself I'm just stating facts. I'm good...just don't like being confronted or questioned about stuff I don't have control over.
I had someone accuse me of cheating when I didn't. That man was this CM with the username chesscoach4u. It's really annoying, and there is no real way to prove it.
I'm not accusing anyone of cheating...that's the job of Administrators of these tournaments. Believe it or not I have been accused of cheating too. Problem is I don't have a clue as to how to go about even trying to cheat. but I guess somebody do!
The game you got the rating points returned for will be counted as a win in terms of USCF results. It's happened to me too.
Cheating does happen with online chess. This site does does a pretty good job with detection and has notified me in the past when one of my opponents cheated. Points were given back to me for this site's rating. But the tournament results stood on the USCF website, so I was not given back my points for USCF online rating.
If you suspect cheating then report it. Dont mention names on a forum thread. Just report suspected games.

To find the closed account, just go into your archive of previous games and look for the closed account icon. It seems to correspond to an opponent you had on May 5th.
Now, that does not necessarily mean the person cheated in that particular game against you, just some time while the person was playing on chess.com recently.
Sounds like someone trying to justify cheating! Really? Oh I get it ...You can cheat sometime?
Discussions of cheating or potential cheating are not allowed in the club. We follow the same guidelines as the regular site forums on that regard.
The FAQ, in the club forums, has a section on it. What happens, from a rating standpoint, depends on if cheating actually happened in USCF games and if that is determined before the events get submitted.
I’m only using chess.com to play USCF tournaments. I received this 6 hours ago and it’s not the first time I receive one of this.

is chess.com fixing this before supplying results to USCF?
Who ever was cheating was doing it during a USCF rated tournament.
