I just started too I think the most helpfull thing I know is to learn many opening and traps have fun

I'd say learn and master 1 or 2 of your favorite openings then learn about pawn structures.

Hey guys....here's a tip, for every pawn you move in an opening, move a piece from 2nd rank. populate the center as fast as possible to build rapport and space to castle on either side. Remember,protect your pricy pieces with each move. Don't just play by the book. Try different game styles for both offence and defence and once you find 1 your comfy with,make it your stronghold. The game is dynamic, not always static
