Why in the word are you trying to learn theory... play a ton of rapid then tell me that you need theory.
Chess Books (help)

your simply not going to be succesful playing the sicclian defense at your level
I'm not the best person for books for begginers, I only have book knowledge for 2100+ rapid players or 2100+ blitz players
sorry

I’m more of a go-getter, I need to learn this theory, not “want”. But my opponents won’t learn this theory, I know I’ll blow past 800 and I’m just preparing for that. That’s why.

800s don't play Najdorf theory lol they just play what looks good which is usually just a stupid bc4 nf3 nc3 d3 setup against everything

Play the caro until your like 1200 at least, it allows you to develop your ability to navigate the middlegame and your endgame skill. I can't really recommend any books though sadly. For white, just learn the QG. I don't really know what beginners should play against d4. As for tactics, learn common patterns (such as the f7/h7 weakness, backrank tactics, forks, skewers and pins) by doing puzzles daily. Make sure to review puzzles that you got wrong too!
If you insist on studying the Siccilian, I can't help you much unfortunately.

Usually against d4 for me, I play nimzo-indian or bogo-indian.

Nimzo is generally fine, but I feel like it's a bit drawish.
Also, I would like to point out that your opponents will rarely play theory, and understanding optimal piece placement and pawnplay are far more important. I'm 1300-1400, and I have just started learning the tiniest amount of theory.

First, focus on Tactics.
Openings won't be very important until later
Then again, this is coming from a 1200-1300 rated player, so take this with a grain of salt

OMG FUNDAMENTAL CHESS OPENINGS ACKNOWLEDGE THIS
Looking at it, it does seem promising

Tbf, learning a little bit of theory can help, as certain ideas occur very frequently in certain openings, but the Sicilian is just way too complicated
Hey,
I come here for good recommendations for chess books. Some may say don’t get them, but I think otherwise. You get guidance from IM’s and GM’s, plus, you can analyze it yourself to get better understandings.
Here are chess book topics I would LOVE to study:
I really would like the Sicilian, chess tactics, and an openings book for white since I am studying Sicilian for black. Intermediate books are also good.
Don’t hate on me for wanting chess books, keep your opinion to yourself here, unless it’s about a book or constructive criticism.
Thanks!
