What is the advantage of 'points'?

Avatar of livluvrok

Points show how active you are on chess.com, but other than that they don't mean much.I guess points are just a little bonus because chess.com wants people active, and to be rewarded when they are :) But this forum isn't about that, it's just for people who have something to say about chess Smile

Not me, but then again I'm a beginner so I don't know

I could look into that. There are a few openings where the rook is brought out 2-3 move...

I have just noticed. They tell in order to improve your game watch(examine) GMs' games. This morning I 'WATCHED' blitz matches of Carlsen,Morozevich...e.t.c.You should believe first then you should do.By watching them I felt the superiority of their play (it is obvious of course )and this can make your approach to games change a lot.Sometimes you should take a break and observe how the others are observing.

By the way the matches were on Youtube.

Thanks for the link, yes its awesome to watch, though Moro should have been disqualified for clinking his pawns at the table too much. Smile
