Hello..I have been asked to share my biography ..so I will do some brief desciption of my life, maybe it will be interesting for someone to read...
Well...I born in November 16,1984 in Plunge (small town of Lithuania...) I was introduced with chess in the very early stage of my life(i was only 4 years old),so i even can't remember the first lesson ,which my father taught me...my sister was even smaller at that time(only 3 years old)..and our father taught us both..his dream was to make us a professional chess players,so he put very hard work to make us improve as much as possible ! We started to participate in local tournaments(usually blitz 5min) when i was around 6..my father asked us to write down the moves even in blitz games,so that we could later analyse games! Of course,we didnt like that, our opponents had time advantage all the time!
But for learning,it was good thing!...We spent hours everyday by playing games and later analysing them, usually we analysed just 1 or 2 games per day( a few hours for one game),plus various of puzzles, even very hard ones! I remember ,that he was asking us to solve the puzzle no matter how long it would take to find a solution moves,so sometimes it took a few hours and later, after quite long time he started to give hints and etc until the puzzle is solved...I think this type of teaching was very effective ,it was very helping for visualization ,for thinking far ahead! Me and my sister won a lot of local tournaments and also a lot of team competitions in our age range...(schools against schools or girls against girls and etc..)...I became a few times Lithuanian champion under 12 and under 14...Also I was participating twice in European Championsips(in 1994 and 1995..) But at the age of 14 I stopped playing chess for 13 years...(my father decided to stop teaching us for some personal reasons..)...In 2007 I came to live in Ireland due to economical reasons...I got a job in local area...And suddenly in 2011 I met one lithuanian person, which lives in Ireland too..he is a chess player ...I played couple of games with him ,talked about chess and decided to try again!( I was feelling that something is missing in my life, and it was chess)...So I played a few tournaments, which were very succesful! I won a few under 2000 tournaments and also took 3rd place in master's section in 2012 Gonzaga( you can find a video in youtube about me playing there..)...and after that I got offer to participate for Irish women team in World Chess Olympiad,Istanbut 2012...Olympiad was very succesfull too,I won 7 games out of 9 in board one and gained my WFM title! In 2013 born my second child,so I had a little break from chess( too busy life with 2 kids..)..and in 2014 I started to play more...Created my chess caoching profile and now i am very happy with that,it is like my job and hobby at the same time!!!
