I created an opening strategy (for White or Black) that I used to use against opponents no matter what. Then I learned that you have to respond to your opponent's moves. I had two variations of my opening strategy. Here they are:

(I have the opposing king moving back and forth because I have to include and move the king).

This one was without the two last moves (I originally did that to protect the weak pawns, but then I learned that left my king and rook vunerable to attack):

Awesome chess i would ink you should had whole set of opposing pieces. Your opening could change depending on opponents move. Or maybe not. Just my thinking

Note: This opening is only used under the right cirumstances and with the intution that your oppenent relies upon their queen and castling, there are many ways that this oppenent could have foiled my plan but the basic point of this opening is to either exchange queens very early on (which throws some players that are Queen oriented), or to ensure that oppsoing king cannot castle, or both. If you have anhy comments on this opening please share.

One question: how do you know your opening hasn't already been created?

That is a good question... in fact, probably a lot of "created" openings have already been created!

@Jacob_Klein22 your opening is really similar to the fried liver, except it sacrifices a knight instead of your bishop.

Wow, no offense, but these are all really bad. Like, really bad.  Sure, under some circumstances the first system could be good, depending on the opponent's moves, but seeing as how he said "that I used to use against my opponent no matter what" I think he is neglecting their moves and is thus playing terribly.

As for the Scholar's mate "opening" sacrifice thing. Just... no.  The fried liver allows you to regain material or mate the king.  You cannot do this without the queen which you gave up in your "opening".  It doesn't matter that much that he can't castle because there are no mate threats and an active king is good in end game.

I can't say that I created an opening but when I play Blitz/Bullet chess against my computer as white I use the Mieses Opening and then I transpose to the King's attack or sometimes I start 1.b3 then 2.f4 (Nimzo Larsen Attack I believe.) These methods have proven to be universal against all kinds of threats. I use the Modern Defense as Black and then transpose it into either the KID, Nimzo Indian, Mongredien,1...b6 or maybe the Averbakh, it's pretty univeral as Black. I like to wait for my opponent to develop and see what he is up to before I decide on my attack.

I like transpositinal lines because with preperation you can put your opponent in a bad variation of an opening that is completly different than with the one we started with! It has taken a lot of loses to realize all of this. I will lose many more, but I hope to learn from it all.

In conclusion, I have never created an opening, but I like to leave the book opening early in the game then transpose the position to my favor. It obviously does'nt work every time, but sometimes it does. Either way I learn something every time. Good day guys :)

Anyways I'm sorry my post isn't much about the main topic. I believe ANY opening can be played with complete success or total failure.(Opening knowledge is'nt even necessary until you are over 2000+ from what other Master players have told me.). What matters is knowing when to recognize the position for what it is and use a principe or a combination of ideas to make the best move possible. Good Day!
