Could anybody recommend any free online coarses or maybe even software that could help me with tactics. Kinda like tactics trainer if possible. Thanks :)
Chess Tactics

I use three main websites to help me with tactics: chess.com, which you can only really benefit from using as a Premium member due to its limited tactics for Basic (and to an extent, Gold) members, chesstempo.com, which has many tactics and other features for free (although there is a paid option), and chesscademy.com, which has a free tactics trainer (be warned that the trainer is slightly buggy; it often repeats tactics and recently there were website problems where the trainer either wouldn't load or wouldn't count points for your rating when you did tactics) and a variety of courses taught by NM Andrew Ng (the courses are often not too time consuming, but still very informative; I completed them all in 3 days after joining (mainly because I had a lot of spare time on my hands!)) that discuss tactics as well as many other aspects of chess.

Edit: I just signed up for chesstempo. My only issues with it are a) There is no way to reset your tactics rating (it uses the Glicko rating system - I kept bombing tactics because I wasn't used to the site and my rating dropped 500 points in ten minutes) and b) there is SO MUCH on the page, it overwhelms by brain and pains my eyes.

I don't think the rating systems with tactics are fair, either- it always seems I lose more points for missing a tactic than gaining points for getting it correct. I prefer the rating system on chess.com's Tactics Trainer.
This thread is specifically devoted to discussing tactics.
