First move I'd analyze is Nd5, takes takes Q moves then Nc6.
I had a similar position as white vs Boris Kogan , an IM, around 1980. Lost thru a combination exploiting the unprotected bishop on e3.

This is a great suggestion.
on Nc6 in your line , Bxc6 dxc6 Nc5 with a very unclear position

What is the idea ? a king walk to b1 .. illustrated below with blue arrows

because of the Maroczy bind which are the pawns on c4 and e4, Black cannot take advantage of the king travelling via the d2 square
The player with White ?

Duda
and he won with this move !
Very interesting game!. Offhand, what I see is black took 3 moves to capture the pawn on c4--- seems too slow. Also , after g6 black could have tried Nf8 and defend with pieces (sort of in the style of Duncan Suttles)-keeping little pawn center intact.
After g5 I tried to find a way to play Nh5 as it takes white 3 moves to get to it there (B-h3-g4xh5) but I couldn't find a compelling way to use 3 free moves (worth a piece).
Overall, I think the clue to Kd2 was the knights on d7 and f3 so g4-g5 means the knights need to waste a few moves to rearrange themselves. I dont know if the order g4 before Kb8 was significant.
I'd like to analyze it deeper as I find myself in similar positions often enough for it to make sense.
Thanks for showing the idea and game! - Bill
Imagine you are playing a chess rated event called Titled Tuesday.
You belong to the top 25 best players in the world, so a well known top GM. You think you have a chance to win.
But wait, you have White and you are paired against Magnus Carlsen
You play a few moves and reach this position

lets see how we got there

Question #1 What did White play here ? incredible idea worth posting here.
Question #2 Who was the player with the White pieces
Question #3 Who in the end won the game ?
Good luck, feel free to post your answers below.
(I am not sure turning on the engine will help at all, I do not think this is the top move by the computer but I could be wrong...)
