No. Match has been finished on 7th October, when account was not yet closed. As per rules, completed matches are not further recalculated in relation to closed players.

Where is it in the rules? I suggest to change the rules then for 2017. He won against a much stronger player twice. Probably with engine. The tournament still open... Until the end of it we can do what we want. This is logical, is it?

Let's read the rules. It is highligted in red. You can post it into Suggestions forum but I am not planning to change this rule. Btw: chess.com sais his account was closed for inactivity and not fair policy rule so if it would be the case it would be logical to keep result too.

We agreed not to make differences between the closed accounts, I remember, because we have got never exact information from the chess.com about the closed accounts... We always go back to basic (closed) questions, this is so boring. Undecided

I am glad that you agree that you are boring. Still trying to find something, how you can win in another way than over the chessboard.

From rules perspective all closures are treated same way as based on Chess.com feedback cheater icon in v2 could be misleading. I will be checking with them for the next season, if currently displayed information in v3 are reliable or not. I was pointing this out only from fair play perspective as you have accused Maubec from cheating, although his closure displays inactivity and not cheating.

Lets see what other admins will say in Suggestions.

No, I agree that you are boring. You misunderstood. Anyway I do not try anything... You always hurt me and my team, we know this is your bad habit... sad.png That's it. And this is really boring, my friend.

I understood well. I really dont see, why I should be hurting your team, especially when I like Budapest. And it hasnt happened yet. There was no decision, which would be against your team, which would not be stated in the rules. Maybe if you would have read them at start prior crying here in forum, we wouldnt need to have dispute here.

If you say I am craying in a Problem forum, I am boring and so on..., you hurt the SA of Budapest, who represents the city. So you hurt the city as well. It is so easy.

I'm not sure if this in the rules for this season but it works so far for WCL at least (I saw comments before that Chess960 WCL and WCL has the same rules, is it true?)

Anyway all closures should be treated the same way cause we don't know for sure why certain person closed his or her account (maybe cause he/she knows that anyway chess.com close it for cheating or multiplayer). It is said many times that there is no reason to close your account yourselve, so there must be a reason and seems to be not a fair one... imho

on the other hand all tournaments should have cut off date. So only cut-off date should freeze all recalculations cause we should announce at cut-off date final results. It's ridiculous to recalculate different matches in different time, they all start at the same time, so it's logic to finalize their results also at the same time!

Absolutly, this is what I also think about it. Thank you Adriano, I agree with you.
