Hello, I have been enjoying 960 chess very much but I cannot figure out how to castle in 960 chess on chess.com... I know the rules in general to do it, but I can't figure out how to in some games, like if my king has to move one space to the side.

Thanks for any replies :)

You just have to select your king and put it on the square where the rook is. Then it will castle automatically and both pieces go to the right squares.

Nevertheless, ensure that castling is permited when you try that move.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, that answers my question perfectly :)

kokino already answered you question but just to add.

If you castle on the queenside (Where the queen is) even if the rook is right next to you that's called O-O-O and on the king side O-O. Am I right?

Based on regular chess, yes, that is correct.

In both regular chess and chess 960, when you castle:

The king moves to the g file and the rook to the f file for O-O.

The king moves to the c file and the rook to the d file for O-O-O.
