Club time/place?

I found this group online, but I am wondering when and where the UCF Chess Club meets on campus?

Tuesdays and Fridays from 3-5 in the Java city area of the library. We start this Friday.

When i read the title of this, I though we were invited to a club... like dancing and stuff... haha.

are you on the mailing list?

tuesday/fridays... really. Sucks I guess I wont be going to many meetings. I was hoping thursdays.

how do i get on the mailing list

Are the people who meet at the library very seasoned players? Are somewhat beginners welcomed?

Yes and yes.  Out of the people who regularly attend, we range from beginners to over 2000 strength.

so when are the new meeting times?  btw please add me to mailing list my email is jkeller10@cfl.rr.com.  

also does anyone wants to meet monday and/or wednesday afternoons for chess on campus?

new meeting times:  ThF 3-5.  Also tournament practice Sun @ 3(?).  Once you are on the list you'll get reminders about it anyway

Considering MW chess:  330-6 is perfect for me.  However you would have to bring a set, as I haul enough on those days.  Please reply.

How about for the summer?  When will the club run for the semester?

Currently we meet Thurs. 4:30-6 and Fri. 3-5.  Although this might change next semester; we try to work around the most active members' schedules.

I might show up today even if it is just to watch.  Unfortunately I left my chess set back home.

I am in the Java City area of the library right now.  You will see me playing chess online 5 computers from the main entrance.
