So, inspired by DaBaby and b1z (now he doesn't play it ig) I thought of trying the colle system. I won the game due to a blunder but had problem in making plans and understanding opp moves.

So, masters of the colle, pls help me analyse the game and tell the main ideas behind colle and some resources for it are also welcome

Here's the game

I don't play Colle but I think you are supposed to break with e4 normally not c4 and also I think you are supposed to play Ne5! as well. But as the annotation symbol said at around move 6 black is equalized, and that means the Colle is not the best opening to play for an advantage

But what are the points of moves you suggest?

I doubt any opening gives more than 2 centipawns in opening 😂

Still the Colle is good for black with best play you are basically giving up your opening advantage for an easy system with barely any memorization.

U said Nxa2 is just giving up a pawn in the engine lines but there is Ra1 followed by Rxa7 Qa1 etc.

e4 looks tempting but I like c4 better anyway as you want the center closed for a kingside attack

English and Réti > Colle and London

Your comment on 5.o-o can you elaborate with some example?

And 10.Ne5 N×e5 11. d×e5 doubles the pawns (which I didn't want to). Is it good to double? How to continue after that?

you're fine with doubling your pawns because f4 holds it all together and now there's a big wedge of pawns in the middle for black to deal with

here's an example of the kingside attack I'm talking about (Where black plays inaccurately)

f4 + g4 are both very common moves to either 1. disrupt the kingside structure 2. deflect the knight away from the defense of h7. If black played the rook away from f8 AND moved the knight away from the defense of h7, and the knight is still on e5, the sacrifice on h7 works

the rook lift to f3 is also very common

This was nice! Thanks DaBaby

I forgot to add something about how the Fianchetto things were inaccurate

In this example, black messes up by playing 4. g6 and allowing a move order trick

and then black needs to play nbd7 and c5 before castling, during which white will play c4 and try to explode the center

I would castle after playing the Fianchetto and nbd2
