Command blocks!!

I have been working on a bunch of tools with redstone and i had completed a chiken flare gun and a machine gun, then i went on to make a tnt cannon with command block, but they weren't there! I am using the PC 1.7.4, has anyone else had this issue?

Easy so do /give (username) minecraft:command_block 1

It's not in creative mode you only can give yourself command blocks

does /give 42_hitchhikers minecraft:command_block 5 give you 5 command blocks? i will need a lot and i don't want to have to type the same thing over and over again since i am working on multiple progects that use command blocks, a self reloading tnt cannon (very fast) and a teleporter (not just me but entire robots!)

It would be /spawn Primetnt -15,1 Fuse:30 i think

If you're in creative you have unlimited so no worries about 5. Also if you are in survival and give yourself command blocks you can certainly go in creative.

i am making a robot that will have a lot of weapons and stuff and i will be in the cocpit controling it. also, i found out that the /clone command doesn't work so i won't be making an army of clones :(

Oh.. I think /clone is from WorldEdit or something. Also have huge arms with dispensers full of TNT and blow everything up. I like thatidea.

the tnt cannon is with command blocks so i don't have to reload it.

/clone isn't WorldEdit. //copy is.
