Thanks for the great idea to post our games and analyses of those. Feel free to contribute, everyone!

I hope this game of mine is helpful.  I play white against an opponent in a recent chess.com tournament...please feel free to provide any comments that you think may be helpful to improve my chess game.

Best!

My latest checkmate loss...I am getting slaughtered!  Once again, I did not see this one coming.  Feel free to review and give me any helpful hints you can!  I am beginning to work on the tactics trainer on chess.com and the one that Slashinka suggested (thanks!).  I am also studying endgames and checkmate patterns since I have been missing so many of these lately.  Other than that, I am at a loss as to what to do.

My latest game to end in a win for me.  A nice one for me given my long losing streak, but the game itself certainly was not the prettiest of all games!

Best way to improve as a beginner is to learn to analyze your games first without an engine. Then ask a better player to analyze the game for you and see what you missed (a good indication of what you may need to work on) Then check tactical variations with a computer. :)
