Computer virus help

I was typing in "chess.com" in the URL and I mis clicked "chess.co" in the URL. The website then says that a virus has been detected. I immediately closed the tab, but do additional measures need to be taken?

as long as you didn't click on the website you should be fine

Clear your browser cache and cookies. If you have AV installed, run a scan. Most likely it's just a scam advert unless your AV alerted and if that's the case it should have blocked it.

My phone didn't give an alert, it was just a sentence on the webpage.

Those are just scam websites that try and trick you into thinking you got a virus and whatnot. I do recommend you fully delete your history, cache and cookies just in case but other than that you should be alright. If anything weird happens after that then maybe you should look into it but I highly doubt that would happen assuming you clicked off the website without clicking anything.
