Connection issues when playing player game

Does anyone else have connection issues when playing 4 player? I have good internet connection, and then all of a sudden i'm no longer connected to my internet. It only happens when playing 4 player chess, and does not occur with any other website I visit nor if i'm playing the standard game, to it seems like it may be an issue with 4 player chess? I've tried switching to Chrome, etc. It's super frustrating when i'm in a good game and then suddenly i'm disconnected. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks all. I love the 4 player option. Great game so far.

Happened to me too, at least 3 times. I use Chrome, btw.

Interesting, well hopefully this is on the developers radar. It basically makes the game unplayable. Oddly, if i connect to the internet using my phone's internet, i have no issues (so far). Or if i play from my phone no connection issues either. 

We are working to improve speed and scalability now. As demand for games increases, we can expect a few hiccups while operating off of or prototype platform. I hope they are not extreme, please continue to report if they are.

While annoying, this is actually a good problem to have. It means that 4 Player chess is going to be around for a while because there is a demand for the game. Remember how you click "I understand" each time you load 4PC? That is our way of saying "things won't be perfect" and your way of saying "okay, I'll be patient."

If you find disconnects unbearable, you are welcome to try again in a couple of weeks. Things will improve.

I use Firefox and it happens to me too. I also get disconnected for a really short time and when I'm connected again I'm back to lobby with a message saying "You can only connect once" or something to that extent, and whatever I do the game is inaccessible. It's a very frustrating way of losing.

Just to comment that despite of my great internet connection here in Germany, my 4 player Teams or FFA games disconnectvery often, this is kind of frustrating. Im typing this in year 2022, several years after they promised to improve the servers.
