...in the blank area marked in the screenshot above, notes sent to me by other users were shown. They're not there today, but were when i last logged in on Monday...

I noticed that  I added to the original ticket for the devs to take a look at. 

what's the point in that? it's the devs who created the problem in the first place...

The point is that the more symptoms are known, the easier it is to fix the problem; amending the original ticket with additional information is a standard operating procedure.

That might be true.... but they are also the ones who will fix it  And they are the ones who built everything that anyone ever enjoyed about the site as well  Without our dev team, the site doesn't exist.

That might be true.... but they are also the ones who will fix it  And they are the ones who built everything that anyone ever enjoyed about the site as well  Without our dev team, the site doesn't exist. 

this is probably not the best place to heap praise onto the people who broke the site...

Normally, one keeps a test site around to test 'upgrades' to remove bugs before the publishing of code on the live site.  Standard Operating Procedure.
