but why not Ke2 after Qc1+?
Ba6+ and white has to interpose with queen because white king cannot move and all other interpositions are useless.

Theres no mate, but white has no defense to ba6
besides the queen
no, cause when the black Qc1+, why not Ke2, that would've saved the queen and checkmate
