You can still find the older TWICs out there and pull down all the ones on their site but it takes a bunch of work.

Not sure on the quality of that but it may be an option.

Here are a couple of other options I've used:
Kingbase (updated for 2017, >2000 ELO) http://www.kingbase-chess.net/ and
ICOFY(#107): https://sourceforge.net/projects/isschessoffice/files/ICOfY%20Base/
This may be beyond your technical scope, but if you are familiar with web programming, this person has written a script so you can download the new games from TWIC and update your current TWIC database: https://github.com/KatolaZ/twic_script
Note: you will need a TWIC games database to seed it, which can be found here:
TWIC database for SCID to TWIC 957: http://www.looiseschaak.be/downloads/scid/TWIC.zip
Thank you both.
I just came accross this 2.77 Million Games - GorgoBase - Chess Forums - Page 3 - Chess.com https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/277-million-games---gorgobase?page=3 , on page #3 this is a link to sendspace where GorgoBase can be downloaded. I've never heard of sendspace.
I saw the link to http://www.looiseschaak.be/downloads/scid/TWIC.zip on the SCID site, and was planning to lool into it over the weekend, as soon as I learned some Dutch via Google Translate.😎 Any idea what the "myscidbase" available from that same site is?
Thank you both.

Using the translate feature, I got this description " (database SCID) Free games downloaded and added to TWIC - about 3,000,000 games! (300 MB!). "
It seems to be his TWIC db plus some free games..
Hi. I had taken a hiatus from chess, and am easing back into play and study. I have a new PC and unfortunately lost a good chunk of my chess related data. I downloaded SCID vs. PC, but no longer have a game database. I am having trouble re-creating by previous data ... TWIC does not seem to post its archives before 2012, MillBase for SCID and GorgoBase are no longer available. The links on the SCID website seem broken or no longer available.
Any suggestions?
