Here's a thick Petroff's I played in the 6th round of my last club tournament. I somehow managed to lose 45 rating points this tournament with my inconsistent play and a 4th sub 1000 performance level in the last 20 months

This game shook off the anxiety and depression I was fighting for 2 and a half weeks. 9 Round club championship started off this week. it seems to be where I make up all my rating traditionally (4.5/9 PR 1173 in 2017, 5.5/9 PR 1255 in 2018 ) and it started off how else, with a Petroff's Defense, a grind down to an endgame where I was up 2 pawns.

The biggest surprise of round one was our 2200 NM lose to a 1500 player

not at all @sathishksekar. It's solidly subtle, not supposed to be looking for an obvious advantage
