I just play on the desktop, but my layout has changed also. You may be able to adjust the size of the boards and that may help? but that may be challenging on a mobile device
Developers - has there been a change to the page recently? Or mobile users - anyone else having prob

The layout has changed on purpose, though it only barely affects live chess. I'll do some testing on mobile to see how it goes.
The partner window has been worsening much last weeks. Very often it is too small for my liking. Very strange change.

Jdcannon thank you, I'm keen to hear if you encounter the same. And checkforchess and kazbegi, glad you've noticed it too! Having Bug withdrawal over here, but it's just not fair on any partner to play blind to what's going on. And I don't own a desktop

Yep, we fixed it 
Its not rolled out to everyone yet, but seems to have made it to you already.
So, I've been playing Bughouse on the browser of a mobile device every day for many months without issue, as anyone within my range will know. Today, the layout is different. At any time I can only see either my partner's board, or the chat box. Not both. I either can't see the game or I can't see any communication. If the chat box is open it's taking up the whole page, closing it uncovers the board. Nothing has changed on my end: same device, same browser. I've downloaded a couple more browsers and the exact same thing happens. Tried mobile view and desktop view to no avail. Are my Bug days over? 😭
