difference between API and profile's info

There isn't rapid information, but in levonaronian's profile we can see:

Bullet: 3002,  Blitz: 3132,  Rapid: 2778.

How to explain it ?

Check how many rapid games he played LMAO. Zero!

Where is 0 (zero) games ?

All the rapid games are unrated so I suspect that is why, however I don't think the specification excludes unrated so it looks to be a bug.
