DISABLING THE CHAT

Not really needed. It is obvious that people's preferences are diverse. You can't satisfy them all with a single setting.

Has disabling the chat itself been disabled? I have played a few games where someone has tried and failed to disable though the command looks like the right one.

A way to report abusive players would be good so long as clicking the report button also sent a snapshot of the chat window so the abuse can be verified and not just someone being upset because another player took their queen or other piece so they decide to hit the report button.

It may sound whiny to some people but No one should have to endure abuse just to play a game and I've seen a few really abusive chats.

No is right ,chat would be no fun if there was just a list of

:Good job, Nice move, etc.

But it is better than having no chat at all. That was the point I was trying to make.

The point is to avoid bad language and other stuffs.

Cooperation is an exciting aspect of the game; however there should be a cost associated with chat - such as only allowing chat while your clock is running (could be this is already the case?).  There are ways around that too I suppose.
