What about vacation, and I mean for real. Someone gets ill, are we going to punish that? The other side of that argument - some can fake illness and abuse the rules if we allow vacation. We can not confirm or deny illness online.

This is just some material for discussion, I have no thoughts or answer yet.

For a team can play only the citizens of that city. I can play and people from small towns in the region. Every admin can call people from your country and around the world. And what will happen, who will play? Hasegawa for Belgrade, Don Pedro for Athens, Bjorn Deyle for Zagreb. No it can not go! Of course the issue of the official matches.

Should determine the minimum number of players in the match, maybe 10 no less. Maksimun player of your choice of teams in the game.

Nice to be a winner in a group or league winner, but it is important to play fair, and enjoy each game!

Nopi's right .. We called the league competition, but we play the tournament system. In my opinion there are 3 options .. One is to change part of the name, others play by the league system, which would mean two divisions because of the number of reported towns .. and a third version that does not do anything .. leave in the name of league, but playing the tournament system.

 

Ljubo vacation we have no way to control, but to check every player in every match, and that's too much work. I am for it to recommend to players by their admins to be used as little vacation, but this will last a year .. The members will go to sea, private or business obligations .. surely someone will be in a position that it must be used. I see no reason to punish anyone for it.

 

We should as soon as possible to arrange a rules for players of group . We have already a group here that almost no players from their seats. I continue to support the thesis that the competition of cities and its citizens (who were born or live in it). In order to facilitate an agreement, we may allow group to join a players from surrounding small towns or villages. And here we must define what a surrounding.

 

Maybe we can give this first season "wild card " for groups that are small and have players who do not belong to them .. just to that group would not be rejected and to give them a chance to lead the next season players from their cities. This may be our hand of kindness ..As the majority decides, I'll agree.

 

I agree that the min. should be determined ...10 sound good...

I think wright that time for a challenge has to be 7 days, maybe max 8.

I think also that -1 point is enough for not responding to the challenge starting after 48h.

I agree that the min. number of players should be determined to 10 and open for the max. The final number of the players will be determined by the team with the less players 7 or 8 days after the challenge.

Let's start now by forming the 2 divisions. I suggest that all cities willing to participate give the average of their 20 more powerfull players.

My suggestion is that in the city groups should participate players from surrounding areas who does not have a team.

Also the Admins should declare the players that will participate in the specific league,so that the players cannot participate in other groups in this league.

Also the Admin should be able during the league,to declare a new player that has not been declared in another city group.

Personally in two days I will be in a position to give the names of the players from my city group.

OK, I have read the post "RULES IN BRIEF", the rules are very good, therefore I second Milan's proposal with one exception - the vacation rule.

But firstly let me say that I am in favor of 3,2,1 -1 scoring system because in that system -1 has more effect.

VACATION: I shall use personal experience. Currently I am playing against a guy who is on vacation for over a month, This is just ordinary game, but annoying nevertheless.

In the league this would be too much. Therefore, I believe that vacation time rules should not be suggested but imposed!

In an ideal world, this would be 1 - 2 weeks. However, we must bear in mind that the summer is coming and many will go for holidays. Also, looking further, Christmas break is often connected to New Year break i order to achieve extended holiday.

Therefore, I suggest 3 weeks as maximum vacation time.

The technical aspect should be simple. Each player knows when the match started (and if one forgets, one can always go to the match itself and see the staring date). If his/hers opponent exceeds 3 w such player informs the admin of his team. The admin then contact the director who takes appropriate action, namely loss of that single match without affecting the team as a whole.

Also, all of us can urge our members to take as little vacation as possible, and to write a personal message to their opponent, informing them of the upcoming vacation and its duration one day in advance.

- 3 weeks vacation is fine.

- 3 days per move bacause of some extended weekends

- 2 groups otherwise it will be very tiring and stressing and with fewer players for the last matches

- 2 weeks time before a new match starts

- the order of the matches can be defined by draw otherwise all teams will prefer to play with Athens first - lol

Two things:

Max should be 20 - 25 otherwise it will take ages to start the match.

Second if we set min and max number, when does the match begin? This takes time.

I think we should just determine max after seeing to our opponent's number number of players and after consulting their admin. Then just put atostart.

This should simplify things.

goes all the way as in standard matches. The players are reported, the system sets the strength of the players and when the date for the match lock, admins do it .. however a number of players on one side or the other.
