What 4pc variants? I only see chaturaji queues and the war for throne queue here and there. I don't see any of existing 50 variants being played at all. So we can exclude that from players' activity and still have the same number. 4pc variants are a ghost town, the queues never fill up.

It's not about the domain name, YouTube. The conception is most certainly their owning. I do not mean the board of course which is in public domain; but the points calculations system, etc. So it's not that easy.

I'm afraid you're right.

So we simply need either a sponsor able to give let's say 200K€ per month happy.png or make players pay 10€/mo. what most would certainly refuse.

If we had to pay money to play 4pc the whole game would collapse or everyone would straight up leave the game.

Do not say "everyone" and do not judge others as if they were similar to you. I would easily pay 100€/month if we had a website structure that makes sense (with no 2p BS and 1001 separate rooms), an active community, perfect servers and friendly atmosphere.

You're speaking for yourself when you say that, not every single 4pc player has that type of money to spend.

I agree chess.com probably doesn't care about 4pc, it is too small. Its bizarre to me that the 4pc admins seem to care even less though.

It's quite simple really. 

It would fix the disconnects, the starting position, keep Solo separate, and bring back FFA. 

In no time we'll have 9000+ active players again, instead of 5076.
