I guess at least he did castle his king in the game. LoL
Don't bring the Queen out too early

This is another game I played in live chess with a 15 minute time control where my opponent may have brought his Queen out too early allowing me to develop while attacking. It wasn't quite as early as the previous game, but you can see that with my steady attack against his queen I was able to put together my pieces for a devastating attack. Probably wouldn't have worked against a really strong player, but then again a really strong player may not have opened like this either!

This game might not fall under the category bringing the queen out too early except that my opponent went for a check without fulling developing his pieces, castling and connecting his rooks. He fell for a late game trap that I had seen as he was positioning his queen and rook for an assault on my king.

On move 26 once he committed with fxe4 i knew i had a free piece or a checkmate with Bxb7. The game itself looked kind of drawish but I believe I had a better position with space and my bishop was much more active. My rating at this point isn't really high yet, but i've only played 17 games with a 11-4-2 record.

Here's another game in the less than 10 minute blitz games I have won where my opponent brought his queen out before developing all of his pieces. The difference in this game wasn't that I could attack his queen using multiple pieces but I did get a few tempo with attacks on his queen. He made a few errors and I punished him for it, he resigned early in this game being down some material.

This particular game my opponent resigned after Qxe2, I'm not quite sure it was over for my opponent as I was only up a rook and the board was wide open. After Qxc8+ Bf8 blocks and even after Bb4,Qe7 looks good. That rook definitely made whites job easier, but I do not believe this game was clearly over as my opponent did.

This game I'm posting now is about as good an example as it gets for do not bring the queen out too early. Now some of the examples have a development aspect of it, attacking the queen with tempo and developing pieces at the same time, this game has that aspect as well as just a plain old beat down due to a complete blunder. This was a 14 minute 4 bonus second game on live chess, so it wasn't a complete time predicament to move fast. My opponent had some time to make his moves, infact in the 13 moves only about 2 minutes went by. Enjoy

This game was played in live chess with a 7 minute time control, no bonus time. It is a good example of developing your pieces before bringing out your queen. In this game, It wasn't so much that I could attack my opponents queen and use the tempo, but I think my superior development helped me near the end game. It was definitely a fun game to play.

This is a game I played in blitz chess that is a good example of why you don't bring the queen out too early. Keeps you from developing your pieces and can give your opponent attacking chances with tempo. Hope you like the game!
