Double chess (4 player variant)

Are there any lovers of double chess here?

I don't like Double Chess for 4 players. It's a pity that Green Chess gives you the opportunity to play only this variant.

Double chess for two players is much more interesting.

Teams, red & yellow vs green & blue.

I like this variant because it doesn't drift very far from regular chess and many of the same principles may be applied here, and at the same time more players involved - more fun. Only it would be nice if there was also 16×16 board version.  But that's just me.

Yeah, it would be good to have a 2 player option there.  Perhaps one day the admins here might add this variant for either 2 or 4 players.

Actually, turns out one person can play both colors on the same side (doesn't have to be 2 different people), have full control of both armies and coordinate them however they like, while when there are 2 players in one team they may have different ideas and lack agreement.

Now, I want to play 1 game like this and see how it goes.
