E4 or D4

This is why I prefer d4.

e4 is for time, d4 for space... I play e4, I like to develop fast.

e4 is so lame. Yes, it's great but SO many people use it. I hate when I play chess and someone opens with guess what? E4. It is the best move I'll agree. But D4 is still a great move. I like some varations with d4 better than e4. That's my thoughts! 

I don't even agree that it's the best opening move, honestly.  Yes, it is the most popular, but it has such a highly-rated defense against it in the Sicilian.  d4 doesn't have that same problem as far as I can tell.  KID has some theory that can give white trouble, but even then, the user has to actually understand the theory.  The sicilian just straight up owns 1. e4.  

I play both e4 and d4 but its a lot of learning.  I like ruy lopez when i play e4 and i like queens gambit when i play d4. Depends on what kind of game I'm in the mood for.  Playing e4 might be more of a risk since black is probably more experienced with playing against e4.
