But also, why add bots in the first place?
it's to get beginners going and to end losing streaks, not to be abused. if youre not good enough to climb trophies, then thats a skill issue. this forum may have been useful if you actually gave good beginner decks and tips, not point out an exploit that's contradictory to the game's purpose, isn't fun, is tedious, and probably doesn't work because the algorithm paires you up against bots only up to a certain trophy amount, at some arena milestones, and when you are low in trophies and are on a losing streak.

Hey I saw it in a comment on youtube after trying to find out how a lvl 6 had hunter in arena 5
i’ve never used the exploit

Yeah, Garfield, I think @I_Really_Am_Toxic was just pointing it out.
everyone probably knows I play 2.6 on my mini cause it's easy to get and easy to upgrade, I remember when I was in arena 10 every single person had level 12 mega knight and I had level 9 cards, so I put in pekka instead of ice golem and destroyed all mega knights
but the best tip against mega knight is you can use 2 cycle cards to activate king
I’m in spooky town and really close to 4K trophies now, I decided to push ladder after not pushing for like a month and I went on a winning streak with log bait
I went against a bunch of mega knight players, I just do Valkyrie or knight or ice spirit to slow down/ tank for the mega knight, and then have the inferno tower slowly burn it down

Whenever you queue for a match, the estimated time only shows for real players. It won’t show for bots.
Yeah, kinda sad that you have to resort to this, but you can keep canceling a match whenever you see the estimated time, until it doesn’t pop up. The bots have 1 iq, miss fireballs and arrows a lot (not always tho) and use arena one cards. So just farm bots and boom!
Or you can play against real players and get better along the way.

my problem with it is just that you're making it sound like youre recommending it, instead of merely pointing out an exploit(which may have sounded like "theres a bug rn that allows you to keep playing bots to gain trophies"). I feel like the parts I have bolded make it sound like youre recommending it as a way to gain trophies

Yeah, and also I think it's pretty hard to pull off to be honest. A lot of times, the cancel button, after you search for a match, doesn't even work, so you'll be forced to play a real ladder match against a real player.
