Why we had a double forfait? None asked us to start the match and we have already 2 round in progress. I don't think a double forfeit is even feasible so please let us start our third round or someone should have advised both teams of the forfeit in time... regards

The round was properly announced in News (https://www.chess.com/de/news/view/ecl2022-round-3-announcement) and your match reported in the Notes later as not opened. The round started on 9th January by as the match was not planned and there was any communication from any of the teams it was considered as forfeit for both teams. It is responsibility of both admins to follow the group and create the matches on time.

Sorry Dale, but we we should lose 1 point only because there is a news message not read? If there is a management of this ECL there should be also an email or direct message, not news... or a calendar as done for any other event... I think it's not fair this management for both the teams.

What's the problem leaving us play the games? If both teams agree? Loosing 1 point in this way has no meaning and you can consider also our withdrawal from the tournament if there is no other solutions. Andrea

Messages are sent automatically by Chess.com to all members, when News are posted and Alerts is created, when there is new Note.
Management of the leagues are done for free in the free time, so it is impossible to handle team admins, who do not follow the group communication. If you would like to have any improvements you can volunteer and help with the league management.
Still the goal of the league is to have the games played and have fun and not to forfeit the games. As it is still early in the season, I can accept you match as the exception if you agree with the opposing team and schedule the match immediately with start date latest by start of Round 4, which is 13th February.

Dale I'm really sorry but I do not receive news alert on my account. I have to open the browser and look at each news and club notes... I do not receive any alert by email or push on my phone. It's easy to create a google calendar and share it with all the admins... in this way you can send a calendar and schedules to be ready to create each match. Take care. Andrea
