ECL 2025 - Division 2
Question: Brno has match against London in both WCL and ECL. For the match in WCL we need 10+ players while in ECL 12+ players. Shouldn't we start the match in WCL with minimum 12 players ?
Ah yes, probably you are right. But we are already 9 vs 8 with 2 weeks to go until the match starts, so I think we will easily hit 12 vs 12
If you want to play one game for both WCL and ECL, you need to reach a maximum limit of players: in this case 12+. If you doubt whether your team can reach 12+ it would be better to set up separate games.
It is 20 vs 11 with 12 days to go:
https://www.chess.com/club/matches/london/1706419I think we should be fine. If for any reason we are not then yes, we can have a second game. And, in retrospect, I should have sent the challenge as 12+, not 10+.
