Thanks, with regards to matches in WCL and ECL against same opponent do both teams have to agree that the match counts for both competitions or is it just accepted as such?

See extract from WCL/ECL 2025 rules;

F2) Merging of WCL and ECL matches

• If both teams play in the same division of WCL and ECL, then the WCL match is counted for ECL by default too (all rounds of 2024 season will be considered).
• If both teams agree, then they can set up a separate match as per ECL schedule.
• Setting up of the match on ECL schedule with proper name is considered as agreement to play a separate match for ECL.
