You want to study Capablanca alongside studying from Jeremy Silman's book and the secind endgame book. You want to take your time and understand the position. Once you have read these books, you need to reread them again.
Studying the endgame is very important. If you're going to be a strong player you have to have good endgame skills. The reason why is you can decide to trade off pieces if you see a winnable endgame. Here is a great book to get and study on endgames. It's called Siman's Complete Endgame Course and the author is Jeremy Silman. Get this book and study it. It will help your game out tremendously!
