interesting the given analysis for move 9.d5; it shows how they should have played the fork; and the analysis given for move 10, showing us way ahead at end. also was amusing that the final advantage was given as 327.49 pawns!!
Thanks for the post, wormrose!!
Toga II analysis
In this game we (cookie3) basically set a trap by allowing the queen trade and the knight fork. This is the Toga II engine analysis of the game and it is obvious our opponents did not make very many good moves during the opening. In fact, despite being down a physical pawn, after they took the rook we were 2 pawns ahead according to Toga II.
Engine evaluations are shown in the comment box below the board.
+0.56 means White leads by 56% of a pawn. A minus sign means Black leads. In this game Black was never in the lead.
3.e4 is called "Kramer's Gambit". It was first played 1948 by a guy named Kramer against Reubin Fine (Fine won) and it has been given a chapter in "Dangerous Weapons - Flank Attacks" by Palliser. I plan to prepare a tutorial for our forum.
