Stage 2: After White reinforces the center, I think black should play h6 to kick the bishop, the bishop will take bxf6 (i think), and after nxf6, white will play na2 and play for the c4 pawn break

so Rad1 h6 Bxf6 Nxf6 Na2? c4 isn't a threat, so black goes ahead with d5!? exd5 Rd8 (or something like that)

if black ignores c4 white can play cxb5 and after axb5 white has a passed a pawn i think

Na2 d5, tell me what white plays

Pawn takes i think

Rd8

if Rc6 just Rb3 or Ra3 to protect the knight and i guess White has no problems

he has no problems but neither does black, who is the one putting pressure on white now.

Nh4 h6, now what? Be3 is met with Ng4.

hvenki

I guess you could let it be? I dunno, rook on e3 after he takes doesn't seem terrible

it's not terrible, no, but black eased his position with exchanges, and with a bishop on f8 his kingside is quite secure after ...Nf6

DasBurner

ok board is set up gimme like 5 minutes ill come up with something

wait does what I said earlier with nd5 counter that

DasBurner

ok, scrap the rad1 stuff

DasBurner

I wanna play bd3 because the e4 pawn is super weak after bb7, but then the knight would hang, so nb1 then bb7, bd3,h6 bxf6 nxf6, i wanna play rac1 to support c4, probably rec8 i think, then c4

yeah after Be3 Ng4 then White plays Nd5! Queen moves then Nf5! and is dominating

how is be3 a thing, the queen is on e3 right?

DasBurner

you gotta be kidding me

DasBurner

ffs it is

White can't take en passant because of Qxb6 and the b-pawn is weak trash

I would play Nh4 to get to the hole on f5 and attack d6..

Nh4 h6 (if g6 immediately then Bh6! trades off the defender and lets the queen come in with Qh6, then White can press the attack with Ng5 and the rook lift from e1-e3-h3) Be3 Be7 (h6? Bxh6) Nf5! followed by Rad1 and I think the d-pawn drops.

why would you take on h6, there's a bishop on f8, you literally just drop a piece

sndeww

ok it seems that Nh4 is good

Bd3 reduces control over d5, allowing black to play for d5 easier after Bb7

DasBurner

i give up i set the board up wrong, im just gonna play Fifa the rest of the night. thanks boys
