Ok? Why’d you post that
Fake Betrayal 🤡
2 things: one: How about you stop wasting thousands of peoples time and keep your games to yourself.
2: you said a great idea but said two ideas. Go back to 2nd grade bro
1: I wasn’t trying to be cool.
2: I already have turned off notifications and I just said that I think it is really annoyingto get so may messages from chat.
It does say in the forum rules, “Check to see if there are existing similarly-themed threads before creating a new one.”
However, a theme like this has been posted very little to none, and such game above is unique in the fact that it’s also from a W4PCC qualifier.
Let’s put this in plain English for everyone:
1. This is a World Championship Qualifier game that just occurred a little less than a few hours ago.
2. A common theme in the free-for-all, everyone for themselves version of 4 Player Chess is for players across from each other to not attack each other early when there are four players still alive. Attacking an across-player (opposite) early is called “betrayal” by many top 4 Player Chess strategists.
3. During the move cycle before the picture above, red delivers a check on yellow, his opposite. Under normal circumstances, that would be considered hanging a queen to yellow, or a “stupid” move. Blue, thinking red is out to get yellow, defends red’s queen and you see where the queens are in the current picture. Then, yellow played his only move which was to move the king over to the position in the current picture.
Blue expects red to take yellow’s bishop for a checkmate. This would be considered opposite betrayal.
Green makes a move and then Red instead spices it up, showing blue that he thought a couple of steps ahead of him and fooled him. He checks blue by “hanging a queen”, which is rather seen as “defended” by the yellow queen. A few moves later, blue is checkmated as in the final picture.
Now the question is, was this “fake betrayal” triggered by player knowledge. I’ve played very little recently but in the games I’ve played against Martinaxo, I’ve known him for joining an opposite betrayal as a side opponent. Red may have had this in mind when making this play knowing Martin would certainly play along. However, this as an anonymous game so players had limited information and could only “guess” who the players are based on maybe a few moves and timing tells and positional tells on the players.
This is a unique game for these reasons and while it’s normally questionable as to anyone being able to share a random game, this one is certainly good for discussion.

I'm not in the argument but HOW TF U GETTING NOTIFICATIONS WHEN IT IS TURNED OFF??????
@At12043339 Why do you care to even join the group then cause all we are posting is all related to 4PC
Guys, it's a great post, but of course you need to be 2500+ to get the message, so I can't blame some reactions, it's not because they are stupid, it's simply lack of experience and ignorance.
So silly, Anyway game link plz. I really want to see this game!!! Also, you could look at forums and visit this forum but then why did he say I got a notification?
2: you said a great idea but said two ideas. Go back to 2nd grade bro
1: This is perfectly understandable language on his part and in no way suggesting that they needs to go back to second grade
2: For all you know they literally IS in second grade (@TheCheeseDuck I'm not trying to insult you or anything just saying that it is possible, especially because of the rather young age that many people start playing chess)
3: For all you know, English is not their first language. In which case, they has impeccable grammar for someone who didn't learn English as their first language.
Those are good points but plz stop using these 1.,2.,3. since they are annyoing. It just shows an insult to your opponent and it just looks better as an essay. I really feel like this should be illegal on chess forums!!

bud
are you trolling their grammar or something
also i'm in high school
wdym? I'm not trolling just pointing things out for why what he said didn't make that much sense, and could potentially be offending depending on the situation.
Later...
This is gonna be an interesting W4PCC with all these strategies…
