Favorite LOTR (and The Hobbit) characters and why

Mine are Aragorn, Sam, and Elrond ( and maybe Pippin)

Mine are Gandalf (because he's Gandalf), Aragorn, and Sam. My absolute favorite is of course Bilbo.
