Of all the airplanes in history, I wouldn't have thought of the C210. It must mean something important to you or transported you somewhere/sometime special.

'Favorite' is hard to define. I go through periods of loving a plane for what it can do (or more precisely, what it allows ME to do) or how it flies.

The Travel Air 4000 took me from coast to coast, over the Rockies, into the fields of Iowa. Amazing how powerful an effect a machine from 1928 can be.

The Falco F8 is gorgeous, the Spitfire full of possibilities, the odd-looking Bellanca Cruisemaster from the 1950s is the nicest FLYING airplane I've had my hands on. The Janus was my first fiberglass sailplane experience, so I'm fond of it. Flying the Cessna Bamboo Bomber (T50) was a delightful adventure.

The Aeronca Champ is one of my dearest friends, and the WACO SRE flies in my dreams. The perky little Hatz biplane has got a wonderful spirit and she's taught me a lot about flight...and my Pietenpol is simple, honest flying.

I'd love to fly the Pitcairn Autogiro, the P-51, and the BD5.

'Favorite'? Can I make categories? I'd need about 150 different categories to feel I'd answered the question fully...and still years of flying left to do and more airplanes being born and re-born every year to fly.
