I like WhiteZombie,NIN,Black Sabbath,Tool,Fear Factory.

I like Metallica :D, Godsmack, Rammstein, Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses, Nightwish.

I like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire, Dragonforce, Nightwish, In Flames and Catharsis(the best Russian power and speed metal band).

My top 10:

10) Psychostick - I love their lyrics. The best funny metal band i heard.
9) Arkona - Great Russian folk metal, i am going to see them next week.
8) SlipKnoT - The first metal band i was listening to. I love their live performance.
7) Lunatic Gods - In my opinion the best metal band from my country. They play a mixture of black, death, folk, doom, and few other genres, the sound is really unique.
6) Eluveitie - Swiss folk metal. Full of energy, i saw them live, it was really good. Also, the hurdy gurdy is awesome.
5) Anaal Nathrakh - Mix of black metal and grincore. Vocals are awesome, too brutal for a vast majority, though.
4) Laibach - Industrial from Slovenia. They play for more than 30 years, still very good. Their lyrics usually have really deep meaning.
3) Rammstein - I saw them live, it was awesome. Best live performance ever.
2) Burzum - Takes me to "other world". Perfect atmospheric music.
1) Dark Tranquillity - There is not a single song from them i dislike. Their songs are really beautiful and touching, and each one of them is different. Mikael is really great frontman and a nice person too. Seen them last year, and i will see them again in November.

Created in the 2000s- I like Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon, Whitechapel, Oceano. There's not too many good metal bands that are created since 2000. Before 2,000, I like Trivium, Testament, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Pantera, Slipknot, and the list can go on and on....

Dream Theater for my all time #1 spot, but in terms of whatever I'm listening to most heavily at the minute, it rotates constantly. Been listening to Sylosis the most recently, and I always have a bunch of Thrash/Death/Black Metal  /  Prog Rock bands in the mix.
