Hi I am relatively new to this group and seeing so few forums here I am starting this thread. Who is your favourite player and why?

My favourite player is Jose Raul Capablanca. Now why ?

Basically because he is a master of endgames and i am weak in the endgames and also he remained unbeaten for 8 years- a real chess machine.

I really like Capablanca too. :-)  Mine are Tal for his amazing attacking style and Petrosian for his great defence and amazing prophylaxis. :-)
