easily fog of war it looks intimidaning but its quick fun play 3-2 its s much fun even for an 800 rating
Favourite variant?
Hi Max Wolfe (and everybody)
I use different variations for different purposes.
1. Duck chess (defensive tactics)
2. Givaway chess (relaxation when Im stressed, since the combinations are much fewer).
3. Chaturaji and 4p (fun, drama and strategics)
4. 3check + King of the Hill (rethinking tactics and combination)
5. Seirawan, Gothic, XXL, etc. (when im bored with real chess)
5. King Race (the thrill of it)
6. Chaturanga (to get irritated)
The only variations that have failed to thrill me at all (so far) are the blind variants and Fog of War, I just don't have the energy. Plus the explosive variatons - can somebody please explain to me how the strategics of THAT get interesting?
PS. Lastly, when we got this wonderful tool now at chess.com for setting up games and rules, how come all the suggestions I see are either 500 pieces and 12 rules over a 14x14 board, or a normal board with some uneven set up that one player obviously wins???

I mostly like Atomic, Crazyhouse, and Setup Chess, and sometimes I combine Atomic and Crazyhouse for extra fun

i start discovering variants with 4PLAYERS chess, found HORDE is really for relax, duck i somewhat funny, and FOG make me think more then i want to when i want just relax..
Gracias por contestar Max_Wolfe.
