O dear...  fwiw, I never saw anything like that on the 'phone.  Sounds Touch-specific so far.  Frown

EDIT:  Also, it seems like I might have missed a test build (??).  The one I just got from the App Store has a different (and better!) method for selecting difficulty levels for Play Computer than I have seen before...

Love the app Thanks.........but just like Appllo 33 I'm crashing from the settings page. Everything else seems to be working great. It's not a big deal but I've noticed that my crashes are only related to the ON/OFF slider switches. The other settings on this page seem to work just fine.

I installed the app on my iPod touch (v3.1.2 7D11). As FoolsMate wrote, crashes are only related with the ON/OFF sliders.

I missed some board styles, unfortunataly my favorite blue marple Cry.

Is there a way to get a signal, if there is a new message in the chat? Maybe colorize the speech ballon in the menu? By the way the chat looks awesome good.

Good work, in german we would say "supergeil".

Good info. I'm not using the sliders and am able to use the rest of the app. It's nice! Thanks guys.

during online chess -> press the speech ballon to enter the chat -> press any other item in the menu -> press online again. Now you will see that the amount of messages have been doubled. Repeating this procedure will increase the messages.

I just looked up a game in progress on a 2 week old 32GB iPod Touch (latest operating system whatever) and clicked on "Analysis Board"  to discover White miraculously now had 3 rooks!!! the third appearing out of nowhere and only on the analysis board's version - online version shows 2 white rooks!

The application was worth the wait! Fantastic job. Suggestion: Can you add a feature that allows the user to create and store variations to a game.  This feature is not available on any application for the Iphone. I'd also like the ability to browse completed games.

Hi,

Thanks for the very good app.  I think Deep Greene may already have registered this request on my behalf, but could you add a feature that saves games allowing (iTouch) users like myself to analyze when they have no wi-fi available ?

Thank you so much for moving the "submit" screen from on the board to below the board. You have no idea how big a deal that is for me and the way I play.

I agree, that is a very nice improvement!

Thanks.  I love the app.

Love the app but may I humbly suggest the following:

When I'm in the game there are a few options I need. Right now there are a ton of options all with tiny buttons that get accidently clicked on my iphone. I'd like to suggest stripping it down to the following:

I need the ability to analyze the current game. This includes being able to go back to the beginning in one click and then to click forward through the game to remember it better. Right now you can't go back a move let along go back to the beginning. These should be like CD player buttons (go all the way back, go back one, go forward one, go all the way forward).

I like the quick forward and back analysis in the main screen.

Chat, switch sides and the menu popup make sense.

The black pieces are difficult to see such as trying to count captured pawns. Why not reverse the screen there so that the background on black pieces is white?

The buttons on the bottom don't belong here. Better to jump back to home/online and then to these other options rather than clutter up the interface forcing all buttons to be smaller. This applies to the analysis screen as well. I'm constantly hitting the button for videos or tactics when I'm simply trying to advance a move.

If you removed the bottom buttons you could actually wrap the analysis into the main screen.

I guess my point is this -- when I'm in a game -- I need only the options that apply to the game -- not every button that applies to the entire app.

Thanks!

This would be a huge improvement for the app.  Both for the iTouch users and the commuting (underground) iPhone users.

- the black background makes the black pieces (that are out of the borad) harder to see due to low contrast betwwen piece color and background color.
may be the backgound color can be chosen by player from suitable alternatives

- i use both the ipad and the iphone apps. sometimes a move is push notified to one device but not the other.

- when listing online games, more detail can be given in each row
