FFA is all about position

I think this game highlights how ffa games aren't always what they seem. Just because you see a queen doesn't mean you should take it. It also shows how a "losing position" can very easily win with the right friction between the other players.

I totally agree. I play slowly and a lot of times thats gives me the victory. At the end, 4playerchess is a game about points and the pawnqueen is only worth 1.

Red made several blunders under time pressure, also blue could have run their king behind the pawns and not lost their queen. So yeah you can easily win if your opponents blunder the game, isn't that obvious?

I didn't see a queen that shouldn't be taken? Also, you could have taken red knight early on for free?

Move 49.

Gotcha, you were about to get mated by red there. Still, red completely botched the next few moves, they failed to keep checking the completely undefended kings, blundered queen right into your bishop, randomly switched to a different pawn just before promotion... You won because of your opponents multiple errors under time pressure.

Agreed. You won primarily because Red lost. This player has a habit of either giving up wins or giving wins to players by attacking another player too much. I think this game is more of a showcase that FFA at lower levels involves predicting a player's stupidity as much as it does playing the game well.
