I once started 4/4.  Then I ran into @canwedoit who is now an NM, and he destroyed me.  I finished with 4.5/8.  This was back when we had 8 rounds.

That's the normal experience for lower-rated players in a Swiss tournament.  It happens to me too.

i only lost to you though cause of some weird line i didnt know was a line
